Pastor Davey and Jenny Gilbert have stepped out by faith in an effort to create an exciting and safe atmosphere for every youth group to come and experience the fullness of God, His power, and His love. Together they have served a decade in camp ministry, followed by another decade as youth pastors. Their hope is to strengthen this generation of young people with the power of God.

At Thrive Camp we stand on the scripture found in
John 3:30- Jesus must increase, I must decrease.
Thrive camp does not promote any one church but does
promote a solid weekend designed to strengthen the relationships within your youth ministry , connect youth pastors to each other, and above all we desire that each teenager would leave this weekend with their lives radically change by the Holy Spirit.
About the Ministry
THIS IS NOT A SUMMER CAMP. THRIVE CAMP IS A DISCIPLESHIP CAMP. Many youth pastors get worn out preparing a camp, raising the funds to go to camp, and getting the teenagers to the camp. At Thrive camp our goal is to have quality speakers, activities planned, authentic praise and worship, and amazing food. When you arrive with your group you are still fresh to create relationships and minister to your teenagers. Jesus had 12 and we encourage you to bring 12. Some groups focus this weekend and make it a weekend for their 11th and 12th graders. Others bring in their 8th and 9th graders to build a foundation for the next years in their youth group. Some bring their whole youth group of 5-12 teenagers. However you would like to use this weekend, we would love to help you and your teenagers get closer to God and bring a fresh fire of Jesus back to your church. We are an independent non-profit organization with a focus to build, encourage, and support the christian church and their youth groups. Here at U.F.O. Ministries, we are driven by a single goal; Jesus must increase as we decrease. We strive to build productive relationships and make a positive impact on this generation of teenagers for Jesus.
EVERY TEACHING SESSION, ACTIVITY, EVEN FREE TIME GAMES WILL FOCUS ON 3 THINGS:
-KNOWING GOD -FINDING FREEDOM -DISCOVERING THAT YOU HAVE PURPOSE-

Thrive Camp is an affordable weekend retreat that was created to bring all youth groups together for a weekend of worship and connection to God and each other. This camp retreat is hosted by U.F.O. Ministries and is not intended to lift up any one church. We stand on John 3:30 : "Jesus must increase, I must decrease. "
